HRS is a Reform community, affiliated to the Movement for Reform Judaism.

We draw our strength and direction from the Torah and from the rich Rabbinical interpretations of the Talmud and from modern Jewish thought, and our continuing history thus keeping alive the living traditions of Judaism. We place in high value the practical help that we can provide both within the community and without. We are therefore excited about participating in Mitzvah Day where members of our community of all ages and abilities will be involved in a number of hands-on projects throughout the day.
