We need you to help staff a stall outside Tesco in Englands Lane and will encourage shoppers to purchase extra items to be donated to our local homeless organisation, the New Horizon Youth Centre for 16-21 year olds in Camden - the centre sees up to 3000 young people a year and is open seven days a week.

South Hampstead is a vibrant, growing Jewish orthodox community. It is a member of the United Synagogue. The community currently has a membership of approximately 850 families, diverse both in terms of age and background. Groups are comprised of youth, young professionals, young marrieds, families, the mature years, singles and single agains. South Hampstead has a reputation for warmth, humour, informality and a non-judgemental approach. The least and most committed sit comfortably side by side and the community enjoys an atmosphere of unusual harmony. Rabbi Shlomo and Lynndy Levin and their family have provided rabbinic leadership since 1985. Rabbi Michael Laitner is the assistant Rabbi as well as being responsible for engaging the young adult members. Rabbi Eli and Lauren Levin coordinate families, kids and cheder activities.
