In Nottingham we invited children aged between 10 and 16 from five faith communities to join us in  presenting a Concert, representing something from their own religion or tradition and held on Mitzvah Day at the  Nottingham Progressive Synagogue in Sherwood, Nottingham.  We expressly addressed our invitation to children of both the Orthodox and Progressive branches of  the Jewish community.

The communities participating were Hindu, Sikh, Christian, Muslim and Jewish.

As a preliminary to the concert we invited the child participants to two earlier events, the plan being for thyem to meet each other and to learn a little of other religions and their beliefs.
