We had a terrific time at Sainsbury's in Golders Green and, as well as being a large team of Alyth adults,,(many more than last year - it keeps growing) we were again joined by the enthusiastic Vicar and congregation of Golders Green Parish church - let alone the sounds of Jonah and the Wailers.
 
My nine year old Miriam was full of her experience on the day - also inspired by hearing from an octogenarian Spitfire pilot, John Davis about the horrors of war and how the stress was alleviated by hearing from family and friends.  She told me all about the letters which she and her Cheder classmates wrote to British soliders in Afghanistan.  In her opinion it a very interesting morning at Cheder!
