Description of project

Zone In - Our Youth Club for children in Years 1-3 will be making "hospital gowns" for children all over the world by recycling T-shirts. Throughout the world, Operation Smile volunteers repair childhood facial deformities while building public and private partnerships that advocate for sustainable healthcare systems for children and families. Together, we create smiles, change lives, heal humanity. RBRS are joining in the Blue Peter Appeal for "hospital gowns" for children who are about to undergo their life changing operation.  Every gown that is donated will save £3 which can go towards vital medication and supplies to make these amazing operations possible. Turn up on the day with an old (but very clean) T-shirt and let the mitzvah begin!

Partner Organisation

We are a young and young-at-heart Reform Jewish community of about 600 families, including over 1,000 adults, and growing steadily. As an inclusive and egalitarian community, we aim to provide for the religious, spiritual and communal needs of Jewish people in the area. Although our building is in Radlett, we draw members not only from Radlett and Bushey, but also from surrounding locations, both near and far, including Borehamwood, Elstree, St Albans, Bricket Wood, Shenley, Watford, Stanmore, Luton and beyond.
