Description of project
The University Jewish Society, in partnership with the Islamic Society, will be manning a stall at the local shopping centre, requesting shoppers on their way in to buy non-perishable goods while they shop, for donation on the way out. We will need assistance to pack the donations into boxes and deliver them to the Refugee Action Centre.

Partner Organisation
Bristol is unique in that we are organising a Mitzvah Day between several different groups all working in partnership. Our organising committee includes representatives from both the Liberal and Orthodox synagogues, the university JSoc and the Jewish Chaplaincy in Bristol, working on projects which will run in conjunction with the university Islamic Society, Davar (the Bristol Jewish Cultural Institute) and Salaam/Shalom, our local Muslim/Jewish radio station, who will be covering the event.
