Description of project

 For mitzvah day 2009 heathlands village with the residents will be making lavender bags.

  • Cut material into circles of about 10 inches diameter.
  • Put the cut fabric on top of one hand with your thumb and first finger touching at the ends, forming a circle.
  • Push the middle of the material partially through the circle, making a bag shape.
  • Put as much lavender as will fit into the bag.
  • Twist the top around a few times tightly, closing the bag.
  • Tie the string or ribbon around the twist, and into a secure bow. You now have a lavender scent bag.
