Radlett United Synagogue (RUS) became an independent synagogue within the United Synagogue in 1995 and has now grown to over 600 families.

We try to be a synagogue that is friendly, non judgmental and all embracing.

 Our principles are:-

1                       We will “walk tall” as Jews – we will not hide our Judaism or be ashamed of it or shy away from displaying it in public.

2                      Such pride in our religion must never be allowed to deteriorate into arrogance or superiority over any other group whether Jewish or non Jewish

3                      We must give the same degree of respect and show the same degree of sensitivity to others as we would hope and expect to receive from them.

4                       We must integrate with the local community without assimilating our Jewish identity
