St Albans Masorti Synagogue (SAMS) is a thriving and welcoming community that comes together for Shabbat, High Holy days and other festivals throughout the year as well as for a variety of social and educational events.  Founded in 1990 by three local families, we have grown to be one of the most dynamic, friendly and fast-growing Jewish communities in the UK.  We now have over 200 adult members and nearly as many children and our own shul which will open in 2012.

This is the third year we have been involved in Mitzvah Day - many of our members participate in one of several projects we organise for the community ranging from our SAM tots, through chedar and teen groups and of course our adult members.
