North Cheshire Jewish Primary School

We had a great day with lots of parent and children volunteers turning up to help with our 3 Mitzvah Day projects.

We had a fun baking session with the children ably assisted by their parents rolling, cutting and baking biscuits which were then packaged in coloured cellophane ready to be taken to our neighbour, St Anns Hospice, for them to raise funds by selling them at their Christmas Fair.

We also had the school gardens and vegetable patch cleared and dug over in readiness for exciting environmental projects at school.  The weather was particularly kind on the day and the families working in the gardens had a great time, but it was hard work!

We also had people decorating and packing shoe boxes to be distributed to disadvantaged children and nearly 100 boxes were collected from school on Monday.

The atmosphere at school was very special and all those that attended felt proud to be a part of it.
