Partners in 2008

This is a Concert without precedent to be held at the Nottingham Hebrew Congregation Synagogue in Shakespeare Street, Nottingham, admission by prior notification only. The participants will be children of the Jewish, Sikh and Muslim Communities in Nottingham, and will comprise music, song and dance. The children will have got together previously on three occasions to make preparations, and the element of Mitzvah is the very fact that they have come together to learn respect for people of different faiths and to absorb some information about the way in which they conduct their faiths. The audience will comprise mostly relatives and friends of the children taking part, and other members of their religious classes.
